inTIL a client offered me cookies to ignore a squirrel nest in a pine tree
Hearing about the homeowner grumbling just shocks me. Baby robins are totally helpless in that nest. Like, they can't even fly yet and would definitely die if you messed with it. Putting off a gutter clean for a few weeks is no big deal compared to that. Having to show a picture to make them understand is wild because it should be common sense. Some folks really don't care until they see the tiny birds with their own eyes.

inMy once-secret backpacking route is all over social media now
Ten groups on a TUESDAY? That's the real shocker here. I went last spring on a Saturday and saw maybe two people all day. Now the trail edges are all torn up from people walking around mud pits, and I actually saw a crushed energy bar wrapper right by the creek last time. It's a tough spot because you want people to love the place, but not love it to death, you know? Totally get why you're torn.

inShoutout to crews using plant-based creosote removers
My neighbor went full eco-friendly with her cleaning supplies a while back. She had constant drain problems from old chemical buildup. A simple vinegar and baking soda mix fixed it better than anything she'd bought before. That experience convinced me natural solutions often work without the side effects. Crews using plant-based removers probably avoid a lot of downstream issues too. What green products have you guys had luck with for other messy tasks?

inAppreciation post: My first solo archway came out way better than expected
My buddy had the same worry on his kitchen remodel last fall. He tried that wetting trick you mentioned and couldn't believe how clean his arch turned out. Said it made the whole job feel less daunting.

inDrove four hours to see some antique pottery and the exhibit was tiny and boring.
Totally get it, I drove three hours once for a yard sale that was just junk...
