Figured out a boot lacing hack that actually works for once.
It stops your heel from moving and causing blisters.

Watched my friend try that heel lock lacing thing last week. He had these awful blisters from his work boots. He looped the laces around the ankle part, and boom, no more slipping. Said it felt like a whole new pair of shoes.

That "boom, no more slipping" moment is great, but it got me thinking. Heel lock lacing can hide if your boots are actually the wrong size. If the boot doesn't fit right in the first place, you might still get pressure points elsewhere. It's like putting a band-aid on a problem instead of fixing the cause. But hey, if it works and saves cash on new boots, more power to him. Just something to keep in mind before you rely on lacing tricks forever.
