Sometimes it feels like a perm processes in slow motion

I mean, checking it every minute doesn't help. Maybe it's just me, but that waiting period is brutal.

Seriously, it's just hair. Tbh checking it every minute is gonna make any wait feel longer. Ngl it's a perm, not a life changing event. The whole process takes time and that's fine. People act like it's some huge deal but it really isn't.
