My cordless clipper battery gave out mid-fade this morning

Honestly, I was halfway through a tight skin fade on a regular when my main clipper just died. No warning buzz, no slow down, just full power to nothing. The client was super cool about it, but I had to scramble to grab my backup pair, which were only half charged because I forgot to plug them in last night. Took me a good ten minutes to get them warmed up and match the guide line, totally threw off my rhythm. This is the second time this brand's battery has failed on me in under a year. I'm starting to think the promised 5-hour run time is a total myth. What cordless clippers are you all using that actually hold a charge through a full day of back-to-backs?

Five hours of run time sounds like a total fantasy.

I mean, it's not that crazy if you think about it. Phones with huge batteries have been around for a while now. Maybe it's just me, but I've gotten close to that with some models when I'm not using it super hard. The tech keeps getting better every year. It sounds like a stretch today, but I could see it happening pretty soon.
