inHad a convo with my sister that wrecked my whole bullet journal setup
oh man that hit close to home, my brother once called my planning "color coded anxiety" and I was so mad because he was right. I went from like six different notebooks down to one tiny pocket notebook and honestly feel way more on top of things now.

inI finally tried setting posts with gravel instead of concrete
That "felt solid right away" thing is tricky. I used gravel on a 60-foot fence two years ago and the wobble stopped once the dirt packed in around it over a few weeks.

inJust realized that 'helpful' neighbor turned my fence project into a 3 week ordeal
Oh man, that's rough. I had a buddy do something similar with my deck - he swore up and down that using deck screws instead of proper lag bolts would save me time. Fast forward two months and the whole railing was wobbling like a loose tooth. Had to tear out half of it and redo it myself, plus the material cost. In my experience, people who offer "help" like this usually have good intentions but terrible follow-through. Your neighbor probably genuinely thought he was being helpful, but that doesn't make the leaning posts and wasted weekend any less frustrating. Hope you can find a way to fix it without making things awkward - maybe just tell him you're going with a different approach next time and leave it at that.

inStarted remote work and my downtime is killing me, need binge suggestions
Dude, your brain is not mush, you just need something that doesn't make you work for the laughs lol. I've been binging a lot of those old improv shows where everyone's clearly just trying to make each other crack up. The humor is so stupid and fast that if you zone out for a minute you haven't missed the plot or anything important. It's like comfort food for your brain when you're trying to get through a workday. The key is finding something where the jokes don't require you to remember what happened in the last season.

inFixed my first snapped chain on the side of a trail in Boulder last weekend
Oh man, that's exactly how my first trailside chain repair went too (except I think I spent closer to 30 minutes and lost a pin in a puddle). I swear those little pieces have a mind of their own, they just vanish into the dirt the second you look away. My go-to trick is putting the chain on a bright bandana or a folded up paper towel before I start messing with the pin, that way if I drop it there's at least a fighting chance I'll find it before it gets eaten by the gravel.
