PSA: Tulips and a penny in the water... still scratching my head.
I've always had tulips droop too fast in my bouquets... My aunt said to drop a penny in the water, and I thought it was silly. But I tested it, and the tulips stood up straight for extra days. I'm puzzled about the science behind it. Do other florists use this? It made a big difference for a recent event. Now I'm curious if it does the same for other flowers.
