Choosing between a big wedding order and a regular weekend rush

Last Saturday, I had to pick between taking a 50-piece wedding centerpiece job for next month or keeping my shop open for walk-in Mother's Day traffic. I went with the wedding order because the deposit was $500 up front. It felt risky turning down the holiday sales, but the steady work seemed smarter. Has anyone else made a call like that and how did it turn out for you?
