Had a vinyl plank job in Phoenix where the subfloor was just a little off...

It was a 1200 square foot condo, and my laser showed a 3/8 inch dip over 8 feet in the main living area. I thought I could just feather it out with patch, but after the install, you could feel a soft spot with every step. I had to pull up about 300 square feet of planks, rent a floor grinder for a day to level it right, and then reinstall. Has anyone else had a subfloor surprise that looked small but caused big problems?

Heard a contractor say a 1/4 inch dip over 10 feet can feel like a trampoline with floating floors lol.
