Found a dead rat in my compost tumbler when I went to harvest soil this morning
Had the tumbler in a corner of the backyard for 6 months, turned it every week, and somehow a rat crawled in through the air hole and got trapped, so now I'm wondering if the whole batch is ruined or if I can just pick it out and keep going, has anyone dealt with this before?

Tbh that's rough but you're probably fine. I pulled a mouse out of my bin last year and just kept turning it, soil came out fine a few weeks later.
