My realtor warned me about skipping the home inspection.

I almost waived it to win a bidding war in Austin and she straight up said 'don't be an idiot' so I kept it and found $12k in foundation cracks has anyone else had a realtor save them from a bad call like that?

My realtor told me the same thing, saved me from a money pit with a shady flipped house in Dallas.

Three thousand dollars for an inspection report sounds wild, I'd probably just walk the property myself with a buddy who flips houses on the side.
