Hot take: Our inspection day was a total gut punch

The inspector found a cracked foundation beam that'll cost at least $15k to fix. We had to walk away from the house in Tacoma we were sure was the one. Has anyone else had a deal breaker pop up that late in the process?

My buddy's inspector found black mold behind the shower walls a week before closing, had to bail on that one lol

That's brutal but you dodged a bullet. Foundation issues are a nightmare that never really end. Better to find out before you owned it.
