Dumped a full bucket of nails in the middle of a shoeing at a county fairgrounds near Denton last summer

The real problem isn't just losing nails or having a bad day... it's that everybody walking around there for the rest of the day is going to be finding nails in their shoes or their horse's hooves. That's a liability nightmare waiting to happen. Anybody with an animal that steps on one of those could end up with a bad infection or a vet bill. The fairgrounds crew probably had to spend hours sweeping that whole area, and even then they might miss some. Whoever did that knew exactly what they were doing, it's not just a prank, it's dangerous.

Yeah my buddy Jim had a mare step on a nail at a county fair a few years back. Took weeks to get the infection cleared up, cost him like four hundred bucks at the vet and the horse was limping for a month. They never even found who dropped the nails, but the fair board ended up paying part of the bill just to avoid a lawsuit. So yeah, whoever did this really didn't care who got hurt.
