Stumbled on a stat about vacuum filters that made me rethink everything
I was reading the manual for my old Hoover last week and found out the filter loses about 30% of its suction after just 3 months of normal use. I'd been treating it like a set-it-and-forget-it thing for almost 2 years. Didn't realize how much dust I was just pushing around. Has anyone else noticed their vacuum getting weak and found a cheap fix that works?
Used to think it was no big deal if I skipped a month or two. Then I actually saw what was caked onto my filter and realized how dumb that was. Kind of embarrassing how long I let it slide before checking. Now I set a reminder on my phone every 30 days so I don't forget again.
