Found out most people never clean their can opener blades
I spent 3 years wondering why my cans always had metal shavings until I saw a video showing you just run a paper towel through the blade after each use. Anyone else find this out way later than you should have?

Paper towels through a can opener seems like overkill. I just give it a quick wipe every few months and it's been fine.
