Wasted $500 on a fancy paint mixing system that was totally unnecessary

Hang on, is it really possible that your graduated cylinders and formula cards are giving you the same precision every single time? I mean, I get that the old methods are comfortable and all, but digital scales remove human error from the equation. You might be getting away with "close enough" right now without even realizing how much time you're wasting on re-mixing batches that come out slightly off. Plus, there's a learning curve to any new tool, and most people give up on them way too fast. If you had stuck with it for another week or two, you might have found it actually cuts your mixing time by half once you get the workflow down. I say plug it back in and give it a real chance before calling it a dead loss.

Hot take: Should project timelines include buffer for "simple" data fixes or not?

Is this really worth all this overthinking though? You spent 4 hours on a CSV once and now we're rewriting how the whole team estimates work?

Shoutout to the woman who caught my awkward transition in my short story

oh man, i don't know if a jukebox is really gonna fix things that easily lol. like if the scene is that disjointed maybe the problem is bigger than one random detail. i've definitely had beta readers point out stuff and i slap on a bandaid but then the whole thing still feels off. the pancake breakup thing sounds like it could be funny if done right, but one line about a skip seems like it's just covering up a bigger issue. you might end up with readers forgetting about the jukebox and still wondering why she's crying into her syrup.

Upgraded from a blade grinder to a burr grinder last month. Huge difference in my pour over.

Did you have to dial in your grind setting right away or did it take a few tries?

Had to pick between a $30 air fryer liner or just washing the basket every time, went with the liners and now I'm kinda regretting it

Yeah those things are just flimsy paper that don't even save you time.
