I was reading an old union pamphlet from 1975 and the weight of a standard sheet surprised me.
It said a 4x12 sheet of 5/8 inch was 105 pounds back then. I found it in a box of my dad's stuff, and it made me think about how much easier the lighter stuff we use now is on the body. Anyone else come across old specs that made you appreciate modern materials?

Used to think old stuff was tougher, but that's just heavy.

My grandpa's old toolbox nearly broke my wrist.
