My buddy said I should post my art process, not just the final piece

He told me this about two weeks ago. I always thought the finished work was all that mattered. So I posted a quick video of how I did the lighting on a recent portrait. Got way more comments and three people asked for tips. It actually helped me see a mistake in my own layer order. Anyone else find showing the steps gets better feedback?

Yeah, it's wild. I used to think the final piece was the only thing worth showing too. But people really like seeing how the sausage gets made, and it helps you catch your own mistakes.
