Working on a 6.7 Powerstroke in a farm shop yesterday

Had the turbo out and dropped a tiny E-clip into the valley. Spent an hour with a magnet and a mirror before my buddy suggested using a piece of vacuum hose to suck it out. Worked in two seconds. What's your go-to trick for fishing out dropped parts in a tight spot?

My buddy lost a valve keeper down a motorcycle engine last month. He tried every magnet and pick he owned with no luck. Finally he got a cheap telescoping inspection camera with a hook attachment. He fished around until he saw it on the screen, snagged it, and pulled it right out. He said that little camera saved him from pulling the whole motor apart. Sometimes the right tool is just a different kind of eye.

Oh man, @kelly_hart28, your buddy must have been ready to set the whole bike on fire before that camera showed up. That's the kind of win that makes you feel like a genius for a week. What's the next tiny part he's going to drop in there?
