Hit 1000 unique passwords in my password manager today and it felt like a weird milestone
I use Bitwarden and have been tracking for a few years. 1000 is a lot more than I thought I'd have. Most are for random sites I signed up for once. Made me realize how many accounts I probably don't need anymore. Anyone else surprised by their own password count?

200 of mine are for sites that shut down years ago but I never deleted the entry. @loganm52 you're right about the breach risk though, I should probably run a cleanup on those dead accounts.

Man I gotta say that kinda scares me more than it impresses me honestly. I keep my password count way lower because I try to only sign up for stuff I actually use regularly or need for important things. Having that many random accounts just feels like a huge security risk waiting to happen, even with a manager. I bet half those sites you signed up for once have gotten breached by now and you wouldn't even know. I'd rather have 50 solid passwords than 1000 that I'm not really keeping an eye on.
