Man, I've been there. I once got stuck on a story about a dog who could cook. The trick was to just write the dumbest first draft possible. I made the dog burn toast and order pizza instead. Once I had something, anything, on the page, fixing it got way easier. Starting is always the hardest part.

Sounds like a lot of fuss over a cooking dog story. Just write it or don't, it's not brain surgery.
