Shoutout to the guy who told me to use a paint roller instead of a seam roller for glue-down carpet

I had a 1,200 square foot office job last week and my old seam roller was killing my wrist after 20 minutes. Tried a 4-inch paint roller with medium nap and it flattened those seams way faster with way less strain. Has anyone else swapped out their regular tools for weird stuff that actually works better?

Gotta disagree here. Paint rollers leave too much nap texture behind and can actually mess up the adhesive bond if you press too hard. Stick with the seam roller, just take more breaks or switch hands.
