Hit 1,000 carpet seams in 9 years, here's what surprised me
I was going through my job logs last night (I keep a notebook of every install since 2016) and counted 1,003 seams total. That's a lot of hot melt, let me tell you. What surprised me is that not a single seam failure came from the actual seaming iron work, it was always prep or backing issues. Has anyone else tracked their numbers like this or am I just a weirdo with too many notebooks?

1,012 seams since 2017, same story. Prep kills more jobs than the iron ever does.
