Hit 15,000 feet of coax pulled this year and it caught me off guard

I was going through my job logs last night and added up all the cable I ran this year. 15,000 feet of RG6 just in residential installs around Phoenix. That's almost 3 miles of cable through attics and crawl spaces. Has anyone else ever checked their yearly totals and gotten surprised by the number?

155 feet through one attic crawl in Mesa still haunts my dreams, had to belly crawl over trusses in 130 degree heat with fiberglass raining down on me. 15,000 feet is wild though, my back hurts just thinking about all those trips back to the truck for more boxes. Honestly I bet half my total is just from the same 3 houses where I had to redo runs because I forgot to check the line of sight first. Maybe we should unionize for better knee pads or something. At least the desert heat keeps the insulation birds from nesting up there too often.

At this point my knee pads are just a suggestion more than actual protection. I'm pretty sure I've got fiberglass permanently embedded in my soul from all those reruns. Who needs line of sight when you can just guess and cry later?
