Serious question, why does everyone rave about Blum soft-close hinges?

I installed a full kitchen last month with Blum hinges and honestly, three of them are already loose. Meanwhile the cheap no-name ones I used on a job 5 years ago near St. Louis are still holding tight. The customer even said, "These don't feel any smoother than my old cabinets." Has anyone else had bad luck with Blum or am I just unlucky?

Question your installer's work on those loose ones, not the hardware.

Funny how that applies everywhere though. Bad contractor? Blame the materials. Blame the user manual. Blame the weather. Nobody ever starts with "maybe my person just messed up.
