PSA: My band saw blade snapped mid-cut on a 40-lb pork shoulder Friday morning.
It was the third blade I'd gone through this month, which never happens. Anyone else having issues with a specific brand's durability lately?

Used to swear by the blue box brand for years, thought it was just user error when one broke. Had the exact same thing happen last month on some maple, snapped clean on a straight cut. Went through two in a week, which is insane. Now I'm looking at the weld on every new blade before it even goes on the machine.
