I finally counted my old journals and hit 12 total.

I was cleaning out my closet in Austin and stacked them all up. It's weird to think I started the first one just to track work stuff back in 2017. Now I've got logs of trips, job changes, and even when my dog was a puppy. Has anyone else been surprised by how many books they've filled?

My old apartment in San Antonio had a box with 9 journals I forgot about. I started keeping them after a bad breakup in 2015 just to clear my head. Flipping through them later, I saw the whole timeline of getting my current job and my sister's wedding. It was a shock to hold all that history. I keep them on a shelf now because they're proof I figured things out.

Ever think about reading them again? Or is it better to just let them sit there as proof.
