Finally figured out my weekly spread after 6 months of trying

I got a cheap pack of Tombow brush pens on sale and decided to color code my tasks for the first time. I thought it would just look nice, but it actually made me finish my 'clean the garage' project in one weekend because the orange box was so visually loud. Has anyone else had a simple change make that big of a difference in actually getting stuff done?

That orange box trick is genius. I started using red sticky notes for urgent stuff and it works the same way, just screams at you until you do it. What color are you using for your next project?

My own garage clean out took three years until I tried a similar trick with neon green highlighters. It's wild how our brains latch onto a single bright color in a sea of black and white. I'm totally stealing the orange box idea for my tax paperwork this month, that stuff has been haunting my to-do list since January. Your post just convinced me to finally dig out those markers I bought on a whim.
