Something like room correction software makes a bigger difference than hardware honestly.

You ever had to set up a system in a room shaped like a weird L shape with hardwood floors? That's where room correction really saves you. I spent months swapping out speakers and amps trying to fix a muddy bass boom, then one weekend I just put a MiniDSP with Dirac in the chain and it was like I swapped the whole system for something way more expensive. What kind of room are you working with?
