My first sourdough loaf turned into a frisbee after 8 hours of rising

I left it on the counter overnight in my cold kitchen and woke up to a dense, flat brick that barely rose. Has anyone else had success with using a proofing box or a warm oven trick to keep the temperature steady?

Nah, real ones know Ultimate discs are way more satisfying to throw.
