I finally tried using a 10-10-10 fertilizer on my fiddle leaf fig in Phoenix and it basically fried the leaves within two days.

I learned that generic high-nitrogen mixes are way too harsh for sensitive indoor plants in dry climates, so what specific brand or formula do you guys actually trust for finicky species?

Ever tried a slow release organic one instead?

Slow release just means I forget to use it for three months straight, @thomas_black81. My plants are basically in survival mode.
