Clay pots at a party split my friend group for good
Mark would not stop talking about how clay pots beat plastic ones at our last hangout. He made fun of anyone who used anything else, saying their plants would die. It got so bad that two people left early because they were mad. I think fighting over pot material is a waste of time. If the plant is healthy, the pot does not matter. Now Mark is not invited to our things anymore. It's crazy how a plant topic can break up friends.

That's a weird hill to die on for a friendship. Some people get this heated over actual politics, not potting soil.
