That $45 'book club kit' I bought off Etsy was just printed discussion cards from a free PDF online

I bought it for my group's meeting on The Maid last month and felt like such a fool when I found the exact same questions on the publisher's site for free, has anyone else gotten burned by those overpriced packages?

Yeah @mitchell.mark that "printed stuff from a Word doc and threw it in a nice box" thing is exactly what happened with mine too. I got one for The Maid and the cards literally had a watermark from the free PDF still visible in the corner.

My sister actually bought one of those for a True Biz book club and it came with these little metal bookmarks that had typos on them. I mean the discussion questions were fine but she spent like $50 and the bookmarks said "Catherdral" instead of "Cathedral" which felt like a bad sign. Idk maybe it's just me but when you're paying that much for a kit the least they could do is spell check the freebies they throw in. The whole thing just felt like someone printed stuff from a Word doc and threw it in a nice box.
