Update: I thought hot towel shaves were just a gimmick for tourists

A regular at my shop in Tampa asked for one every month for a year, so I finally learned the proper method. The way it softens tough beards before a straight razor changed my whole view on prep work. Anyone else have a service they were wrong about?
