My neighbor in 3C showed me his pepper setup last Tuesday
He has a south-facing balcony and grows everything in those cheap 5-gallon buckets from the hardware store. He drilled holes in the bottom himself. He told me, 'The trick is to water them at 7 AM, before the sun gets too hot.' I've been doing it his way for a week now and my plants look way less droopy. Anyone else have a strict watering schedule that actually works?

Morning watering is a game changer. I stick to a 6 AM schedule for my tomatoes, and it made a huge difference in fighting off blossom end rot. The soil has all day to drink up before the heat hits.

But is that really what fixed it, though?
