Doubt it's that big a deal. Cakes are finicky anyway.

the_river, you doubt it's that big a deal. But that early door opening wrecks cakes every time. Have you ever had one sink from checking too soon? I learned the hard way with a flat birthday cake. What makes you so sure it's just cakes being finicky and not the temperature shock?
