Just realized my oven runs 25 degrees hot after my third batch of burnt cookies
I finally bought a cheap oven thermometer from the hardware store and saw it was at 375 when my dial said 350, so what other simple tools have saved your bakes?

That Cook's Illustrated article last year finally convinced me to switch. The difference in my baking is huge.
