My neighbor in Springfield said letting the hens brood is better than an incubator
I was chatting with my neighbor over the fence yesterday, and she saw my new incubator setup. She told me, 'Every time I let a hen sit, the chicks are just tougher. They teach them everything.' I've always trusted my Brinsea Mini Advance for my Barred Rocks, but her point about natural learning hit different. Has anyone else raised chicks both ways and noticed a real difference in how they turn out?

Man, she's got a point. My broody hen raised chicks were way more street smart, no lie. The incubator ones seem kinda clueless sometimes.
