Thought all torque wrenches were the same until this engine job
I used to grab whatever cheap torque wrench was on sale, thinking they all did the job. Yesterday, I was putting heads back on a V8 and my old wrench was way off spec, almost stripped a bolt. Borrowed a calibrated one from the senior tech and felt the click difference instantly. Now I get why paying for quality tools matters for critical fits.

Yeah, budget ones feel fine until they aren't! That slight click difference is everything on something like head bolts. I learned the hard way that for critical jobs, a good wrench isn't a place to save a few bucks.
