Best and worst days in the paint booth: do the good ones make up for the bad?
Last Thursday I had a flawless Jaguar that came out mirror smooth in 3 hours flat. But Monday I had a Ford Focus where the clear coat started fisheyeing and I had to strip and redo it in 95 degree heat. Do you guys find the good days balance out the nightmare ones or does one bad job wipe out a whole week of wins?

Totally feel you on that. Had a mint green '69 Mustang come out glass-smooth one afternoon, then spent the next day fighting with a Chevy Sonic that orange peeled so bad I wanted to set the booth on fire.

You know, at "setting the booth on fire" I almost laughed out loud, that's too real. I used to think paint quality was more about the sprayer than the metal underneath, but after watching a buddy's flawless Viper finish and then my own primer battling humidity on a random Tuesday I totally changed my mind. Makes me appreciate how much the surface and prep decide everything, @richard110.
