Walked through a ghost mall outside Cleveland last weekend

Place called Parmatown. Used to be packed in the 90s. Now it's like 80% empty stores. One foot locker still open. A dolar store. Felt weird walking down those empty hallways. Anyone else have a local mall that just died out?

Walked through a ghost mall" - man, that phrase hits hard. I used to drive 40 minutes to go to Parmatown as a teenager because it was the closest place with a Hot Topic and a movie theater. Hit different knowing it's just a shell now with a dollar store clinging to life. There's a mall near me that went the same way, Food Court's still open but it's just old guys drinking coffee and one pretzel stand that hasn't changed the oil since 2005. Really bums me out seeing these places go, they were like the town squares for kids my age.

You ever try calling the property management company to see if they lease short term or pop-up spaces? I got a cheap spot for a month once in a dying mall and it worked out okay.
