Did you have a bad feeling about the spot you were about to dig at first? I spent $50 on a test for a site in Alabama and it showed the soil was too sandy for what I was looking for. Ended up moving a quarter mile over and found what I needed in two days.

That $60 probably paid for itself in saved time and frustration alone. Smart move to check the soil before committing to a spot.

$60 is a lot if you can just look at what's already growing in the ground for free.
