Spent $60 on a 1870s county map and it was totally wrong

@richard110 I get what you're saying but the 1870s was actually right when the US Geological Survey was starting to map things scientifically, so some maps from that decade were pretty solid. $60 is a lot though, especially if yours was one of the artistic ones.

Read somewhere that old maps from that era were more like artistic guesses than actual surveys. $60 is steep for a piece of decorative fiction though.
