I gave a bottle of my kombucha to my new neighbor as a welcome gift. She saw the SCOBY floating inside and thought it was spoiled. I had to explain that it's a healthy culture, not mold. She was still unsure, but we ended up having a good talk about fermentation.
While on my postal rounds, I notice solar panels aren't as common as ads make it seem. It hit me that maybe the push for them ignores how they actually perform in different areas. Is there a bigger picture we're missing about renewable energy claims?
