inPro tip: I was buffing for years before I saw my reflection in a client's window
My buddy painted his whole kitchen in the evening under warm bulbs. It looked perfect. Next morning, the sun hit it and you could see every single brush stroke and a patch he missed by the window. He had to redo the whole wall. That garage light is a total trickster.

inHit 15 years in the trade and the number that got me was 2,000.
Wait, isn't a yard of carpet three feet?

inAppreciation post: A customer in Phoenix pointed out my caulk line was too thick on a storefront door
Backer rod and primer are a lot of extra work for a simple door seal. I've done hundreds of jobs with just a clean, thin bead of a good quality silicone and they hold up fine. Sometimes a thick line is the problem, it can't flex as well and just splits.

inPSA: I used to think a chain tool was just for emergencies, now I use it every spring
Why even bother with a chain tool that often? It sounds like extra work for no real gain. A snapped chain is so rare that keeping it just for that makes more sense. All that regular taking apart probably wears the chain out faster anyway. I just clean my whole drivetrain with a brush and it works fine. Seems like you're overcomplicating a simple task.
