Vent: Saving for my emergency fund tested all my patience
It felt like it took ages to stash away even one month of expenses. I got through it by moving a fixed amount right after payday so I wouldn't spend it. Now that it's done, the wait was totally worth it for the security.

Remember that building your emergency fund isn't really done... it needs regular check-ups. Life changes like rent hikes or car troubles can eat into it, so you have to top it off. The discipline you built will help you keep that security going.

Just set up a small monthly auto-transfer to mine so it keeps growing without me thinking about it.
