Dark roast from my kitchen ended my morning stomach pain
I call bs on anyone who says light roast is superior. After switching to home-roasted dark beans, my chronic stomach pain vanished. I used to buy fancy light roasts and suffered every morning. Now I roast until second crack, getting a shiny, dark bean. My digestion has never been better. Sure, it tastes stronger, but no acid reflux is worth the trade-off. Stop chasing trendy light roasts if you have a sensitive gut.

I had Counter Culture's light roast last week with zero stomach problems. Maybe it's less about the roast and more about how specific beans interact with your gut. Sounds like your solution might not be a universal fix.

Tbh switching to a medium roast helped me a lot, kind of like what nancy_adams found with her dark roast.
