Just realized how much easier it is to dig into old mysteries now
I remember when I started looking into local legends about hidden treasures, you had to rely on word of mouth and maybe a few books at the library. It was hit or miss, and half the leads went cold. These days, with online forums and scanned records, I can follow threads across the country without leaving home. Right now, I'm deep into the case of a missing ship from the 1800s that supposedly sank with a cargo of gold. Having access to old shipping logs and census data online is insane compared to how it used to be. I kinda miss the thrill of the physical hunt, but I can't argue with the results, lmao. It's crazy how a hobby that was once so solitary can now connect you with other sleuths instantly.

Those shipping logs must have some wild details. Did you find anything weird about the ship's last known route or the crew list?

It's wild how much the internet has changed treasure hunting. I used to spend days in archives, but now a few clicks can reveal clues that took months to find before. What's the coolest thing you've found online about that ship?
