Family pressure to let my boy run equipment early
He's only twelve. My dad had me on a dozer young. But that was then. Sites have more rules now. I won't risk it for anyone.

Wow, I actually agree with your call to follow the modern rules. Times really have changed and some of the old ways just are not safe anymore. Those rules are there for a reason, especially for a kid. Good on you for putting safety first even when family pushes back.
