Had a lady bring in a picture of a cut she got in Milan, but her hair was nothing like the model's
This was about six months ago at the salon. She showed me a photo of a sharp, chin-length bob on a woman with super straight, thick hair. Her own hair was fine, wavy, and down to her shoulders. I explained we could get the shape but the texture would be different. She just looked at me and said, 'Well, make it look like the picture.' I tried to talk about realistic goals, but she wasn't having it. Anyone else get stuck trying to explain that hair type changes everything?

Oh, the classic "make it look like the picture" request. It's like handing a mechanic a photo of a Ferrari and asking them to turn your Honda Civic into one with just a wrench and some hope. The laws of physics and hair texture just don't work that way. You can get the shape, sure, but you can't argue with a wave pattern. Some clients just see the end result and ignore the starting material completely.
