Looked up my old street on Google Earth and the house number was wrong

I was showing my kid where I grew up in Tacoma, so I pulled up the satellite view. The house I lived in for 12 years was clearly there, but the address marker said 2147 instead of 2145. I checked my old school records and a birthday card my mom saved, both with the right number. It's like the digital record of my childhood home got a new identity. Has anyone else found a clear mismatch like that on a map?

Weird, I had something like that happen with my old apartment building. The street view car must have come on a weird day because it shows a totally different color front door, like a bright blue instead of brown. Threw me off for a second lol.

Actually, the street view car doesn't just come on one day. It takes pictures over time and Google stitches them together, so you might be seeing a door from a different year entirely. I looked at my old house once and the car was there but the trees were from a different season.
